The Confidence Code By Claire Shipman And Katty Kay Summary

The Confidence Code By Claire Shipman And Katty Kay Summary Friends, sometimes we notice that some people in life appear confident despite average knowledge, while others who are truly talented feel shy when speaking. This difference can be confusing. We've heard since childhood that successful people are confident. But Katie and Clary Shipman, authors of The Confidence Code, say that success isn't a result of confidence. Confidence comes first, success comes later. This is a slight reversal. But this reversal completely changes our life decisions. So friends, today we'll explore the complete journey of The Confidence Code in this audiobook. The main point of this book is that confidence isn't a talent or a free bonus. Confidence isn't a gift of personality, and confidence isn't an adornment of attitude. Confidence is permission to take action—the permission we give ourselves. And one thing comes up repeatedly in this book—we all have potential, we all have ab...

The Art of Creative Thinking by Rod Judkins Book Review

The Art of Creative Thinking by Rod Judkins Book Review Friends, we often think of creativity as a rare talent, as if it's only possessed by artists, writers, inventors, investors, or geniuses. But the key point of The Art of Creative Thinking is that creativity is actually present in every human being. The only difference is that some people know how to use this skill, while others suppress it due to routine and fear. Creative thinking doesn't mean coming up with fancy ideas. It means looking at the world from a slightly different angle, questioning situations, and always being open to possibilities. Judkins says that our creativity shines when we challenge assumptions, step out of our comfort zone, and notice interesting patterns even in small things. Creativity works like a muscle. The more you use it, the stronger it becomes. Creative thinking gives you a unique advantage in every area of life—business, relationships, problem-solving, communication, career—through pract...

The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown Book Review

The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown Book Review Friends, true freedom comes only when we let ourselves go. Have you ever wondered why we feel so much pressure to be perfect in life? Perfect body, perfect career, perfect relationship, even perfect smile. There's an invisible standard everywhere. But the truth is, the more we strive to be perfect, the further we drift away from ourselves. And this is where Brené Brown, in her legendary book, *The Gifts of Imperfection*, offers a simple and heartfelt message—let go of who you think you're supposed to be and embrace who you are. Brené Brown is a researcher who works on shame, vulnerability, and debt. She studied hundreds of people, those who were happy, connected, and genuine, and noticed a pattern: these people weren't perfect, but they were comfortable with their imperfections. This book teaches us that imperfection isn't a weakness. It's a gift that makes us human, real, and connected. Friends, this audiobook ...

The Between by Ryan Leslie Book Review

The Between by Ryan Leslie Book Review Hi everyone. Welcome back to Coffee Books and Rain. I'm Rachel with my coffee, with my books, and with my reviews. And we have rain today, so I am super excited to be recording on this beautifully gloomy day. I don't find rain to be gloomy; I find it to be refreshing and comforting. I don't know, I just like when it rains. So maybe I should move somewhere where it rains all the time, and then anytime I'm recording, it's probably drizzling or something. But we are diving into a book that I realized—well, let me start from the beginning. I requested a book on NetGalley called The Garden of Before . Sounded really cool, so I was like, "Okay, let me pick that up." Well, then I go to pick up The Garden of Before and hang on just a second. I'm—before—because I go to pick it up and I realize, oh wait, I have not read the first one. Because there was kind of this little caveat that says, when I was picking it up or sta...

Museum of Magic by Beth Revis Book Review

Museum of Magic by Beth Revis Book Review The Museum of Magic by Beth Rivas. Now, I ran across Beth Rivas not very long ago. I was enjoying one of her—I think it was a three-novella—I'm trying to remember. Well, it was kind of sci-fi, and it was really fun, and I had a great time with it. So when I saw her name pop up again I was like, all right, I got to pick it up. I got to see what's going on.  The other one is the Chaotic Orbits one, two, and three. I know for sure I've done How to Steal a Galaxy , and I think I did the third one as well, unless I forgot it. But I think I've done the Chaotic Orbits series, at least books two and three. I enjoyed them, had a good time, and wanted to read this one, which is more of a fantasy novel for probably a little closer to YA. Well, I have some feelings about it, so we're going to talk about it, but we're going to dive into the summary first and go from there. The Museum of Magic by Beth Rivas was first published D...
