Imagine you want to do something big in life but do not know the way. So what will you have to do first? You have to find the right direction. And you will get the right direction only when you understand yourself well.
That is, self discovery. Knowing yourself, understanding, accepting yourself and gradually becoming a better person. Seeing yourself as you really are. There are two types of people inside all of us. The first one that we show to the world and the second one that we really are.
Now the question is how do you see yourself? Are you happy with yourself or do you always keep finding flaws in yourself? If your attitude towards yourself is negative, then you will always be trying to prove yourself. You will try to please others. But you will get real peace only when you accept yourself wholeheartedly. Don't think about what people think.
What you think about yourself matters the most. When you start liking yourself, the world also starts seeing you in the same way. Now you have to ask such questions that will introduce you to your real self. Slowly you will keep getting the right answers. Just be honest with yourself.
The first question is who am I? Neither name nor caste nor job. Just think what is your real self? What do you think? What do you feel most connected to?
Second question: Who are your three role models? From whom do you get inspired? They tell you what kind of person you want to become? Think. Do you want to be kind like them? Hardworking or bold.
Third question: What are your top three strengths? Are you good at helping people or do you have the quality of learning things quickly? Know your strengths and be proud of them.
Fourth question: What was your biggest challenge and how did you overcome it? Everyone has come out of some difficulty. Remember a story where you did not give up. This experience will remind you how strong you are.
Fifth question: What is that thing while doing which you do not have any sense of time? This can be your passion. Some people forget that the clock is ticking while singing. Some people get lost while writing. This is the only thing that can show you the direction of your future.
Sixth question: What is that quality of yours that you like in yourself? Maybe you listen well or maybe you are honest? Knowing these things teaches you to love yourself.
Seventh question: If you had all the facilities in the world, what would you do? If there was no worry about money, then what would you really want to do? This question opens the depths of your heart.
And the eighth question: What is that thing without which you cannot live? Think, relationships, freedom, creativity, these are your biggest needs and priorities. Finding answers to these questions will take time. But with every answer you will be able to know yourself a little more. Sometimes the truth hurts a bit. But remember, this is the truth that will help you become the best version of yourself.
Now that you have understood who you are, now it is time to leave your negative beliefs and grow yourself. After this Manoj says that goals are like the GPS of our life. Imagine you are driving a car but you do not know where to go. So will you be able to go on the right path?
Absolutely not. Similarly, if you do not have any goal in life, then no matter how hard you work, your path will always be astray. First of all understand that the goal is not just about job, money or career. The goal can be anything. Opening a school in a village, writing a book, living a healthy lifestyle or creating your own brand. Goal means that you know where you have to go.
Now why is the goal important? People don't fail when they lack talent. They fail when they lack direction and motivation. Goal is the spark that keeps the fire burning inside you.
Now if you really want to set a goal for your life, then ask yourself the answers to these questions honestly. First, what fulfills you? I mean, what is that thing that fills you with happiness and passion? Some people say I like teaching. Some say that when I sing, I forget everything. That is your passion. Work done with passion does not seem like duty. It becomes the fun of life.
Second question, what can you do? Now think, which skill of yours is the strongest? Are you good at communication or creative work or management, technical things, designing? It is important to know this so that you can think which talent you need to sharpen or learn.
Third question: What else motivates you? Passion alone is not enough for everyone. Some people want money, some want recognition, some want to do something big for their family.
Recognize every means of your motivation because it is the fuel of your path.
Fourth question: What is your ideal time frame? If you have made a goal but said that I will do it someday, then it will never happen. So set a deadline along with the goal. I have to make my own website in a year. I have to do 10 public speaking events in 3 months.
Fifth question: What after that? Life does not end after achieving a goal. Like if you become a millionaire, then what after that? Will you stay alone and just count money? So think what is the next step? Make goals in such a way that every area of life remains in balance. Career, health, relationships and happiness.
Sixth question: How will you keep yourself motivated every day? Motivation will not come automatically every day. That is why you will have to create discipline and system. Make a to-do list. Set a daily routine. Avoid things that distract you like useless scrolling and track your progress every week. Small steps lead to big goals.
What to do next? When you answer these questions, you will have tremendous clarity about who you are? What do you want and how to get it. Now just make a plan with these answers and then convert that plan into action. Remember, without goals you are shooting arrows in the air. But with goals you can hit every arrow on the target.
Further Manoj says that recognize the opportunities and take advantage of them. Sometimes we think that some people are very lucky. They get the perfect opportunities. But the truth is that everyone gets opportunities. Only some people recognize them and the rest ignore them. Recognizing opportunities is not so easy.
We see a lot of things every day. People, things, ideas, situations. But we see them as a common thing. That is why we do not see the real opportunity even when it is in front of our eyes. Opportunity is not something shiny. Sometimes it can be a simple conversation, an idea or even a small experience.
What do successful people do? Successful people first recognize the opportunity. They see potential in every common thing and make it something big with their imagination. Like someone saw a cafe in an empty place and someone saw the possibility of a coworking space there.
Now why do opportunities get missed? There are two reasons for this. First laziness. We will do it tomorrow. Let me take some rest. I am not in the mood right now and the second excuse is I do not have money. I do not know the skills. No one is going to help. The truth is that I never feel like working.
But those who still do it, move ahead.
Now ask yourself six questions.
First, what do you need to be successful? This question shows you what you have and what you don't. Not just money or connections? Maybe you need the hunger, time and energy to learn.
Second question: What do you already have? We always think that we don't have anything. But if you look carefully, everyone has something. Some skills, some time or that one person who can help. You don't need to be perfect to start. You just need to start.
Third question: Where can you get help? You can't do anything alone. So think about who are the people from whom you can learn or who can support you. Your growth is linked to the people you talk to.
Fourth question: What is the best opportunity for you? Not every path is made for you. Sometimes there are 10 options in front of you. But you have to choose the one that matches your goals and values. Don't just grab things that look easy or trending. Think about which opportunity will really fulfill you?
Fifth question: How can you make things easier and faster? Learn to do some things smartly. Not everything takes hours of hard work. For example, a regular person will make a website in a month. But a smart person will first find the right tools and complete the work in 3 days.
Sixth question: Are you ready to take action? Now it is not just about identifying opportunities. Now the question is how will you grab them? Otherwise, without action, opportunities remain just a dream.
These questions help you identify real opportunities. Now the next step is to take action. Because if you just keep thinking after seeing the opportunities, then someone else will take it and move forward.
...Or change your delivery. Or give it some time. But don’t let a no discourage you from pursuing your goal. There are always multiple paths to get what you want. Resilience is key.
“Let them” can help you deal with the changing seasons of life. Life is a constant cycle of beginnings and endings. People come and go. Circumstances shift. The “let them” mindset allows you to flow with these changes instead of resisting them.
